Mahfood Responds to Ewell

(JULY 21) On July 17th, WBAN
received a "cut to the chase" email from
Carlette
'The Truth' Ewell, who did not waste words in how she feels
about her upcoming fight that will be a rematch with
Valerie 'The Wolfe' Mahfood
on August 28th, at the
Grand Casino Coushatta Pavillion, in
Kinder, Louisiana, when the two duke it out for the IBA continental
light-heavyweight title!
WBAN has received a response to Ewell from
Mahfood. Mahfood said the following:
Having read Ms. Ewell's recent comments
regarding our upcoming rematch, I have decided that she is right;
absolutely and categorically correct. The scoring of our bout was
indeed crazy. I have spend hours watching the training video and to
this day, I can not possibly imagine why that judge awarded her some of
those rounds. The only thing I could think of was, perhaps, my outfit.
You see, as a trademark I wear camouflage shorts. Therein lies my
problem. Perhaps the judge could not see me. And, if that were the
case, than I can understand why I am now being encouraged to wear them
again.
Of course, this aside, I wish Ms. Ewell the
best in our fight. I certainly hope she does bring me another dose of
"The Truth," especially given that I so easily swallowed the last one.
Oh, by the way, I should probably apologize
to Ms. Ewell for my inconsideration during our last fight. After having
won the Texas Title, I did not know I needed her permission in order to
keep it. Thank you for correcting my error.
