(APR 26) WACO, TEXAS  - Seven Time World Champion Ann "Brown Sugar" Wolfe is scheduled to fight on the Antonio Tarver vs. Glen Johnson card on June 18, 2005 with an opponent to be determined.  Wolfe welcomes any woman fighting in the Super Middle Weight or Light Heavy Weight division.  A press conference will be held on May 2, 2005.  Location to be announced. The bout is scheduled to be a 10 Round World Title fight.

In the meantime, many boxing fans are probably wondering if Wolfe is still planning to fight a man.  The answer is "Yes".  The fight will be moved to either late Summer or early Fall.  According to the promoter PPV has already been locked in, so now it is just a matter of finding the right venue.

The Wolfe camp continues to receive positive feedback about the fight, and appreciates the support.  Wolfe, who was recently featured on ESPN2's Timeless, said that she is looking forward to fighting a man who has equal skill to her own. Team Wolfe
