(APR 27) Philippines fighter Madyda
Kidsolan, 5-2-2, (WBAN
has no record of this boxer) will travel to Seoul, South Korea to meet IFBA Jr. Flyweight
Champion Juhee Kim. Kidsolan, 18 years old has accepted the challenge
for the belt after Maribel Zurita was injured in training. Kidsolan
is the first women from the Philippines to fight for a world title.
"I look forward to the challenge of fighting for the most prestigious world
title in women's boxing" stated Kidsolan " It is a great honor to be the
first women from the Philippines to fight for the IFBA ...and I expect to
bring home the belt when I return" Ms. Kidsolan said.
The
Kim vs. Kidsolan IFBA jr. Flyweight clash will be held Friday, May 6th and
broadcast on national Korean Television in prime time.
KIm
vs. Kidsolan is promoted by Mr. Hwang Hi who also promotes Shin Hee Choi the
current IFBA Flyweight Champion.
