Source: Press Release
November 5, 2005

(NOV 5) The Monterey Conference Center in the heart of Historic Downtown, will be the site for another edition of THE RIOT Professional Boxing Event. Two weeks before the opening bell, only 500 tickets remain in the 1500 seat Serra Ballroom. Ringside, reserved tables, and reserve seats remain at this moment. Orders are taken at (831)-688-1604 with Visa or Mastercard.

The fight card features 4 undefeated prospects, 2 local talents a welterweight from Ghana, Africa and an exciting featherweight women's bout.

Here is the fight card at this moment.

10-0 Heavyweight George Garcia-Soledad/Glendale Az. vs. Tyrone Ross, 4-3 San Diego (6); 6-0 Welterweight Enrique Gutierrez-Santa Rosa vs. Ago Ashong, 4-1-1 Accra, Ghana. (6); 5-0 Joel Santiago-Las Vegas vs. Freddy Castro, 8-12 San Pedro (6); 3-0 Crystal Hoy-Las Vegas vs. Sosadea Razo, 3-6 Santa Rosa (4); 5-1 Jesus Rodriguez-Salinas vs. Ruben Juarez, 3-1 Oxnard (4), andAnother bout may be added.

"Of the dozens of shows we've produced over the years, this may be as strong as we've ever put together" says promoter and matchmaker Jerry Hoffman of Aptos, Ca. "The fight card is loaded with unbeaten prospects, with a strong local and now International flavor. All the undefeated fighters are matched very tough" states the owner of 12 Sports Productions owner, who got into the business of Boxing as a ring announcer in the 80"s while hosting a Sportstalk show at a Monterey radio station. Hoffman has been promoting at least 2 pro boxing shows a year since 1992 when he created the SHAKEDOWN IN QUAKETOWN series in Santa Cruz. In 1996, the Riot at the Hyatt was born, and in July, Hoffman moved the venue to the Downtown Monterey Conference Center.

First bout is 7:30pm Saturday, November 19th. Doors open at 6:30pm.
