(NOV 22) On December 2, 2006, Kasha
Chamblin will be fighting for her first world title when she faces
Ina Menzer of Germany. Menzer will be defending her WIBF
featherweight world title belt.
Chamblin said,
“I didn’t believe it until I saw the contract myself. I’m really nervous but I’m excited at the same time. I know I’ve
never felt this way heading into a fight before.”
The Chamblin vs. Menzer will be part of
“Universum Champions Night” at the Estrel Convention Center. The
main event will be between Felix Sturm of
Germany against Gavin Tapp of Australia, and WBA middleweight world
champ Javier Castillejo of Spain will also appear on the card.
