Rematch in the Making for Halmich?
December 23, 2006

(DEC 23) It looks like TV "Big Mouth" Stefan Raab, 40 years old,  has not had enough of Regina Halmich, and wants to have another television exhibition with the German Boxing star.

In an article this week, Raab talked about fighting Halmich again, which drove up the TV ratings with 7.35 viewers in 2001, when they first did an exhibition.   Raab walk away from the experience with a broken nose.  The two went five rounds.

According to BILD, they said that they had learned that  Raab and his production Company Brainpool have a secret plan for a rematch in the drawer. The Cologne TV presenter who weighs 193 lbs,  has personally who asked Halmich, 112 lbs., for a rematch.

According to this article, they said, "Raab's TV station Pro7 reached their ever highest number of viewers, during the show match on 22nd March 2001. Apparently Raab wants to make part II into a huge production as well, preferably fill up the Schalker Arena with 40 000 fans."

Halmich told BILD: "Yes, it is correct. I do have an offer. But I am not going to consider it until after my next World Championship Fight on 13th January. I have to concentrate on my next fight and keep pro boxing and show matches apart."
