(MAR 2) Last night in front of a sold out crowd in Imsil, Jeollabukdo, Korea, IFBA Bantamweight champion Gi Young Kim, 115, successfully defended her title by a 10-round unanimous decision over Chinese challenger Shen Dan Yue, 113¼. According to the IFBA, “Shen Dan Yue stalked the quicker Kim all throughout the fight, but was not able to counter Kim's jabs and strong right hand.” The final judges scores were 97-93, 97-94, and 97-95.

In another women’s bout on the card, super flyweight Eun Young Hun, 115½, won a four-round unanimous decision over Sun Young Kim, 115. The judges scores were 40-35 on all cards. The event was promoted by Shin, Woon-Chul.
