(MAR 7) This Friday, March 9th, Crystal Morales, of Oxnard, 5-4-1, will have her work cut out for herself,  when she takes on tough boxing veteran Gloria Ramirez, 9-14-6, of Sunland Park, New Mexico, at the Performing Arts Center, in Oxnard, California.

Ramirez is one of those female boxers in the sport that has a deceiving boxing record, but upon closer observation can see that she had fought some very tough battles with many of the top women boxers.

She recently fought to a draw against undefeated boxer, 31-year old welterweight Suswella Roberts, of Santa Monica, CA,  on May 13, 2006, where she fought her in Robert's home state. Roberts coming into the fight at 6-0-0.

In prior fights, Ramirez had a draw against undefeated boxers Olga Vlasova and Andrea Nelson, and defeated Linda Tenberg, Susan Howard, Mikee Stafford, Eliza Olson, Michelle Nielsen.  Early in Ramirez's boxing career, she was placed in some mismatches that ended up giving her a  0-6-1 record before she began to build some momentum in the sport.
