(MAY 8) WBAN would like to give their
condolences to the friends and family to ex world-champion Diego
“Chico” Corrales, 29 years old, who died in Las Vegas, Nevada,
this week in a tragic motorcycle accident. According to news
sources, Corrales was riding a new motorcycle on Monday evening,
when he hit the back of a car while trying to pass at a high speed
in a busy residential area. He was pronounced dead at the scene at
7:22 p.m.
Corrales had recently bought the motorcycle, and in the local news
it was said that the police blamed his accident on speed and
inexperience. The Las Vegas police said that it appeared that he
was going over the posted speed limit.
