(MAY 17) On May 25, 2007, at the Orleans
Hotel & Casino, in Las Vegas, Nevada, Layla McCarter will be
fighting Angel Martinez in a six-round bout at 140 lbs. This will
likely be a barn-burner on this card!
McCarter will then move on to Melissa "Honey Girl" DelValle, in June
of 2007, where she fights in a title bout against DelValle at the
Orleans, in Las Vegas.
There is also some talk about a potential rematch against Melissa
Hernandez, which will be a trilogy for the two, with McCarter
stopping Hernandez in their first bout, and Hernandez winning by
decision in the second bout.
