IFBA Women's Championship Boxing
June 20, 2007

(JUN 20) On July 2, 2007, there will be a boxing event,
"IFBA Women's Championship Boxing" presented at the Pechanga Resort and Casino, in Temecula, California. This will be AIRED on July 12, 2007, on FSN (Fox Sports Net) Best Damn Championship Fight Night Period, 8 p.m. and 11 p.m. PST.

In the main event, Shin Hee Choi, of Seongnam, South Korea, will be fighting Elena "Baby Doll" Reid, of Las Vegas, Nevada. The two will fight for the (112-lb) IFBA Flyweight Championship, in a 10-round bout.

Another interesting matchup will feature Chevelle Hallback, of Tampa, Florida,  vs. Terri Blair, Louisville, Kentucky. Hallback and Blair will fight an eight-round IFBA lightweight elimination bout.

In a matchup that should prove to be entertaining, Melissa Shaffer, of Seattle, Washington, will fight Sandra Ortiz in a 6-round strawweight bout.

In a "not-so-interesting" matchup in the co-main, Kelsey Jeffries, Gilroy, California, will be fighting Donna Biggers, of Boiling Springs, North Carolina.  We applaud Biggers for taking up the challenge, but Jeffries will probably be too much for Biggers at this time.  Jeffries will be defending her (126-lb) featherweight championship belt in this scheduled 10-rounder.

There will also be another TBD match on this card.

Tickets: $100.00 $70.00 $35.00
