Three Border City Boxers Advance to the Medal Rounds
By Margaret Sidoroff
August 3, 2007

(AUG 3) Border City Boxing Club sent four boxers to this
year's Ringside World Championships in Kansas City,
MO.  In Preliminary action today Katie Dunn easily defeated
USA's National Champion Queen Underwood.  Dunn
advances to the Semi-Finals tomorrow facing Canada's
Aaron Brokovich.

Andre Gorges out pointed Winnepeg's Kelly Paige.
Gorges' win earned him a spot in the Semi-Final's
tomorrow.

Seventeen year old Junior boxer Josh Cameron fought in
his first tournament as a Senior.  Cameron graciously
out-boxed Randell Condruz of Washington yesterday.
Josh met a tough boxer in today's competition and lost
a very close decision.  We are proud of Josh for
making such a great showing at the Senior Level.

Thirteen year old Shelby Bialkowski drew a bye and
advanced to the Finals on Saturday.
