(OCT 2) There were many fights on the weekend that took place around the world.  On Saturday, September 29, 2007, the following fights took place:  In Valledupar, Cesar Colombia, Junior welterweight Ana Pascal TKO'd Yidi Meza in the second round of a 10-round bout.

At the Reval Hotel Latvija, Riga, Latvia, Junior welterweight Natalija Dolgova won an eight-round split decision over Irina Peliha

In Casper, Wyoming, heavyweight Samantha Kalber won by a fifth round TKO over Lydia Olsen Jones in a scheduled six-rounder.  Also,  middleweight Veronica Mahling KO'd Ivonne Gongora in the first round of a scheduled four-rounder.

In Nairobi, Kenya, super bantamweight Fatuma Zarika  (Njeri) won by a first round TKO over Nantongo Mulinde in a scheduled six round bout. Also, featherweight Judy Nyaguthi won a four-round unanimous decision over Shabilla Namagga.

In Germany, Welterweight Juliane Koffnit won by a third round TKO over Danielle Camerling. The bout was scheduled for four rounds.
