As though it were not hazard enough to
gamble the four world titles she already holds (those of the WIBF,
WIBA, WBA and GBU) in hopes of a fifth (the Interim WBC title- Laila Ali
currently holds the title), Natascha Ragosina [15-0-0 (11 KOs)]
faces in Akondaye Fountain [7-0-1, (4 K.Os)] a really dangerous
opponent on Saturday evening in Dassau.
And she knows it: "This fight is a real challenge for me," says the
Russian. "For the first time, I'll be measuring myself with an
opponent of the very highest international class."
An admirer of Catherine the Great, Ragosina has asked that one euro
(approx. $1.47) from the sale of each ticket should be donated to
Schloss Zerbst e.V, the association charged with restoring to its
former glory the house in which the woman who ruled Russia for 34
years lived as a young child. The fight will be televised live on
D:SF (Astra) from 23:00 (CET) / 10 pm (GMT).
