Association of (USA Boxing -United States Amateur Boxing, Inc.)
announces the following positions have been filled at the 2007
annual meeting held December 15th 2007 in Hillsboro
Oregon.
Presidency
is now held by; Jason Marquoit,
a Portland resident and over sees The West Portland Boxing Club.
Vice
President is now held by; Richard E.
Miller of Bend Oregon and over sees The Deschutes County
Rocks Boxing Team.
Treasurer
is now held by; Patty A. Miller
of Bend Oregon.
Registration Chair is held by: Ed
Clarke of Klamath Falls Oregon who over sees Klamath Boxing
& Fitness.
Secretary
is now held by: Julie Bishop
of Portland.
Chief of
Officials is now held by: Jim
Christison of Klamath Falls Oregon.
USA Boxing is a non
profit / volunteer organization providing youth and young adults age
eight to thirty four a chance to become physically fit, mentally and
emotionally sound, and learn the value of team work while training
and performing in a safe controlled environment with qualified
coaches, instructors, and mentors. The Oregon Association of USA
Boxing strives to produce excellence in the sport of Boxing and
exists and depends entirely upon support, donations and funds from
the community and help from volunteer coaches, officials, physicians
and other staff. We feel confident that our new board of Directors
will over see the four-year term with excellence and determination
to benefit these youth and young adults.
