On the Saturday, at the Emerald Queen Casino, in Tacoma, Washington,
Junior welterweight Sarah Pucek TKO'd Theresa Doerksen
in the first round. Photographer Mike Blair told WBAN, “Sarah Pucek
looked far from a young fighter making her pro debut when she faced
Theresa Doerksen, also making her pro debut, in a four round bout.”

Pucek's trainer told canada.com, "Our goal is to take the
title away from [Jeannine] Garside within two years, not to mention
the pound-for-pound honours now afforded to Garside," Allison added.
"If Sarah was an amateur hockey player going to the pros she would
be a first round pick; that's how significant her turning pro is to
the local pro boxing scene."
In Tampa, Florida, super middleweight Laura “Lady Ram” Ramsey,
168¾, now 9-3-4 (4KO), of Lake Wales, Florida, won a four-round
unanimous decision over Alexandra Maloy, 163¼.
Ramon Aranda of 411mania.com reported, "Ramsey scored a lopsided
four round decision over fellow super middleweight, Germany's
Alexandra Malloy. Ramsey pounded her opponent throughout the bout,
even scoring a knockdown with a brutal right cross in the final
round of the four rounder.."
In Neuwied, Germany, junior middleweight Jessica Balogun, of
Aachen, Germany, now 2-0-0 (0KO) won a four-rounder by points over
pro debuter Jaqueline Nowack, of Cologne, Germany.
Lastly...at the Hyewon Girl's High School, in Seoul, South
Korea,there were three women’s bouts on the card. In one match,
junior Flyweight Jin Kim, 107, won a close eight-round
majority decision over Yu Jie Luo, 106¾; Strawweight
So-Young Kim, 103, won a four-round unanimous decision over
Ji-Sook Kim, 103½; and junior Lightweight Ji-Hye Woo,
128¾, won a 10-round unanimous decision over Wen Si Huang,
129. The two were fighting for an IFBA world title.
