(MAY 14) Philadelphia light
welterweight, Faatimah (Tamika) Balmer, had her professional debut
dreams shattered last night, when her fellow debutant Alexandra
Madgziak withdrew from this weekend's Peter Manfredo Snr. in
association with Let’s Get It On Promotions ‘Diamonds In The Rough’
event in Dorchester MA .
The normally sanguine Faatimah, who trains at the Fast Lane Gym in
West Philadelphia, could not hide her disapointment as she past the
news on to her team today.
Faatimah is hoping that a new opponent can soon be found, as well as
a replacement date and venue.
