(AUG 20) On September 27, 2008, at the
Brampton Powerade Centre, and promoted by Stele Promotions, Buxton
Promotions, and Title Fight Promotions will co-promote a boxing
event. There will be a women’s bout featured in the main event.
Toronto’s Sandy Tsagouris, will be fighting Maria Jose Nunez of
Paraguay, by way of Los Angeles, California. The two will be
fighting for the NABA Super Featherweight Championship.
In chief support of this bout will be a Canadian Boxing
Federation heavyweight elimination bout between Toronto’s Neven
Pajkic, 7-0, and and Qualicom Shane Andreesen, 10-1. In all six
bouts will see the ring featuring Ontario boxers Tebor Brosch,
Harrison King-McBain, Rica Floriano, Brock Arthur and Justin
Fountain.
According to Gary Freedman, of Title Fight Promotions, “I have known
Jim Gentle of Stele Promotions for a long time and have respected
the shows that Gentle of Stele Promotions for a long time and have
respected the shows that they have put on in the past. It just made
sense for us to combine our efforts and resources to put on the best
card possible for the fight fans of Toronto.”
This is an all ages event and reserved stadium seating is $30 and
$40 and can be purchased thru Ticketmaster.ca or at the Powerade
Centre box office.
