Kentikian faces Hagar Shmoulefeld Finer for 2 Titles
by Torben L. of Denmark
August 24, 2008

(AUG 24) ProSieben continues it's Fight Night series on Friday 29th August in Düsseldorf. Like the previous shows, Susianna Kentikian is featured in the main event, where she will be defending her WBA and WIBF Flyweight titles.

Her opponent, Hagar Shmoulefeld Finer, has previously fought 3 world champions from the Universum stable, i.e., Julia Sahin, Alesia Graf, and the - now retired - queen of women's boxing, Regina Halmich. Shmoulefeld took all three world champions the full distance, and especially the fights against Sahin and Halmich were very close.

Kentikian, on the other hand, created a major upset in her last fight, when she stopped Mary Ortega in the first round.
The two boxers have similar ring experience. The reigning champion Kentikian, enters the ring in Düsseldorf, with a perfect record of 21 wins (16 KO) in 21 fights, whereas Shmoulefelds 27 fights, boast 17 wins (4 KO), 6 losses (0 KO) and 3 draws.

It will be very interesting to see how the hard hitting, and technically well founded Kentikian will cope with the durable, unortodox boxing Hagar Shmoulefeld Finer, who has never been stopped in any of her previous fights.

ProSieben Fight Night will air live from 10:25 pm CET, so be sure to tune in if you are able to receive ProSieben TV.
