(JAN 17) FERNDALE, WA – Tonight
Tammie 'Tasmanian Devil' Johnson (3-1) of Lynnwood, Wash., will try
to avenge her only loss when she rematches Molly McConnell (9-1) of
Portland for the Washington State Light Welterweight Championship at
Silver Reef Casino.
Their previous bout, last spring, saw McConnell win a tough 6-round
majority decision (59-55, 58-56 and 57-57).
The “Rumble at the Reef” will showcase three women fights
among the 6-fight card. Also appearing will be Brittany Cruz (2-0)
of Denver taking on Stephanie Eggink of Ferndale who will be making
her pro debut.
Another pro debut will be in the third fight when
Merced Nunez (7-1-1) of Philomath, Ore., challenges Elizabeth
Villarreal (aka:) Moreno
of San Antonio.
