(JULY 2) According to elpais.com, ex-representatives Juan Maria Vanrell and Sebastián Amaya are suing female boxer Chris Namús for breach of contract, and are asking for $325,000 in damages. Yesterday the parties failed to reach an agreement, so the case will go to court. Currently Namús is training in Buenos Aires in the same gym as Marcela Acuña and with the same trainer (Jorge Ocampo) in preparation for an upcoming fight she has next month.

Elpais.com reports that at the beginning of April, Namús announced that she was no longer going to be represented by Amaya and Vanrell. For the moment she is being handled by Sebastián Revetria and Wilson Golomar.
