(JULY 14) WBAN has received the results of the 2009 Women’s National Golden Gloves Champions, that took place in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.  Here are the following results:

152 – Andricia Wasson – MI – Student
165 – Suzana Rodriguez – IN – Personal Trainer
178 – Tyler Lord-Wilder – MI – Nurse Aide

2009  Women’s National Golden Gloves Outstanding Boxer
Marlen Esparza from Texas

Team Esparza wrote: "Houston's own Marlen Esparza has just returned home from Fort Lauderdale, FL where the women's national golden gloves was being held (JULY 8-JULY 11) with her third consecutive golden glove title along with also winning the outstanding fighter of the tournament. Marlen who normally fights at 106 lbs. was forced to move up to 112 LBS since there was no entries at106 LBS.  Marlen competed twice in the tournament beating a fighter from Arizona in her first fight and beating GINA D ANDREA,  From Maryland in the finals. Also included in one of the pics are 101 LB Champion LAURA RAMIREZ on the left and 119LB Champion CHRISTINA CRUZ on the right both being from New York."
