Hernandez Departs to Colorado to prepare for Holm fight
November 17, 2009

(NOV 17) Melissa "Huracan" Hernandez (11-1) today for Denver, Colorado, to continue training for her "Bad Blood" WIBA welterweight showdown with Holly Holm (25-1-3).

Hernandez will return to Delgado's Gym, where she trained when filming her March 2009 episode of MTV's "Made".

Although Melissa will probably be going into this fight as the underdog in the boxing odds, she seems confident that the outcome will be in her favor.

"I'm moving my camp to Denver so the Mile High City will prepare me for hunting season.” Hernandez said. “Moving my camp to Denver will be the best move yet. Denver is a great fight town and has showed me nothing but love.

My return to the Mile High City is nothing less then a championship move. Delgado's Gym has given me a home. The support Delgado’s gives is so up lifting that I can't help but call it my second home away from Gleason's.”

Holm vs. Hernandez "Bad Blood" is a joint promotion by Fresquez Productions Inc,. and Isleta Casino and Resort.

Tickets are available through Fresquez Productions Inc., 505-884-7484 and via the internet at isleta-casino.com/entertain/tickets.cfm). For more information and updates view fresquezproductions.com and hollyholm.com.
