Trivilino shines in decision win
by Mark A. Jones
October 4, 2010

(OCT 4) Jackie Trivilino, 126, Plattsburgh got the best of Jennifer Scott, 123, Houston in an entertaining six round bout at the Turning Stone Casino Resort. The Plattsburgh featherweight, 5-2-1 with 1 KO, now a crowd favorite at the Turning Stone, in her usual style, started fast sitting under the punches of the game Jennifer Scott, 2-3 with 2 KO’s, punishing her to the body with left uppercuts and to the head with the right cross and her finest punch, the left hook.

Jennifer Scott attempted to box from distance and time the swarming Trivilino with her jab and right cross. She was successful in spots, but lost each round on all three score cards, but gave a good account of herself.

Trivilino is next schedule to appear on a November 13th card in Albany, New York against an opponent to be announced. Jennifer Scott, reports a 3-0 record in MMA starts, is scheduled to do battle in the cage on October 9th in Las Vegas.

Also in attendance were former world champion Leona Brown and campaigning welterweight Sarah Kuhn.

Attendance: 800 (estimate)

Mark A. Jones
