(MAY 30) On the weekend there were many boxing results for the women boxers. Here are the following that have come into WBAN so far:

On Friday, at the Levis Arena , in Levis, Quebec, Canada, Rosie Thomas, who was making her pro debut as a super bantamweight, defeated Nathalie Forget in a four-round unanimous decision; At the Zlatopramen Arena, in Usti nad Labem, Czech Republic, middleweight Christina Hammer remained undefeated when she won a 10-round unanimous decision over Maria Lindberg for the WBO and WBF middleweight title.  Also, Super featherweight Arleta Krausova TKOed Eva Hensova in the sixth of six.

In Guadalajare, Mexico: Super bantamweight  1Janeth Perez TKOed Mary Camacho (debut) in the fourth round of Ten (sic). also, Minimumweight Nancy Franco TKOed Liver Vazquez (debut) in the first of four rounds;  and at the Dover Downs Hotel and Casino, in Dover, Delaware, super featherweight Ronica Jeffrey also remained undefeated when she defeated Elizabeth Sherman in a four-round unanimous decision.

On Saturday night the following boxing action took place:   In Stone Mountain, Georgia, there were three womens’ bouts on the card. In the main event in a six-rounder, Ljeoma Euginine won an unanimous decision over Gwendolyn O’Neill.

Terri Moss told WBAN, “Ijeoma won impressively having a shut out on one judges card and one judge giving one round to Gwendolyn and another giving Gwendolyn two rounds, but Ijeoma dominated the whole fight having the cleaner and much more powerful shots. Her jab and straight rights scored the most, but she did score some heavy uppercuts on the inside. Gwen was very game though but couldn't seem to get ahead if Ijeoma's height, reach, and power.”

In another fight on that card, Jackie Breitenstein won a four-round majority decision over Lacey Crawford scoring 40-36, 39-37, and one judge scoring 38-38. According to Moss, “Jackie controlled the pace and rhythm of the fight boxing on the outside as Lacey came forward with long jabs and overhand rights. Lacey was cut over the left eye in the second round but fought hard until the last bell. It was a good win for Jackie against a tough opponent.”

In the last female bout on that card, Lisa Garland stopped Natoya Ervin with a hook to the body in the third round. Moss reported, “This fight was a rematch and it was obvious that Natoya had come to reverse her previous loss to Lisa. The fight was very busy with both fighters unloading bombs throughout the fight. Lisa dominated every round though, and punished Natoya through three rounds until the stoppage. “

In Buenos Aires, Argentina, at the Club Banco Provincia, super flyweight Debora Anahi Dionicius won a four-round unanimous decision over Yessika Flavia Munoz; at the Salle du Marche, in Montauban, Tarn-et-Garonne, France, Myriam Dellal won a six-round unanimous decision over Zsofia Bedo.; In Polanco, Mexico, Zulina Munoz pulls it off again with a ridiculous matchup with Estefania Franco, who dons a record of 0-1-0.

In Orebro, Sweden, super featherweight Anna Donatella Hultin made a quick night of her fight when she stopped Alise Priedite, in the first round by TKO. The fight was schedule for four rounds.

And lastly, alte Kreuzbleichehalle, Saint Gallen, Switzerland, Aniya Seki won a six-round unanimous decision over Julija Cvetkova.
