On Saturday night, at the Foro Scotiabank, in Polanco, Mexico,
Zulina Munoz, now 28-1-2 (20KO), has fought yet another
"defense" of her "Fountain of Youth" WBC Title against yet
another apparent inferior opponent, Estefania Franco.
Estefania Franco, now 0-2-0, was schedule to fight Munoz in a
10-round bout for the WBC Youth title. Munoz won when Franco
retired from a possible injury to the bridge of her nose.
[Boxrec record of Franco:

was announced that Franco was 7-1 going into the fight, but
Boxrec has her record listed as 0-1-0. Not only does Boxrec have

So one may ask
at this point.....How long does one fight for a "Youth" Title,
when the boxer as Munoz is now 23 years old?
case, it looks like this "youth" title may be more like a
"Fountain of Youth" title, as she apparently is making a career
of fighting for this questionable title.
In Munoz's last
fight that took place on January 14, 2011, Munoz began the year
fighting Magdalena Leija for the WBC "Youth" title, who came
into the fight with a 4-8-1 record. By the way, shall I mention
the fact that Leija fought Munoz FOUR TIMES, LOSING EVERY fight
against Munoz, with THREE of the FOUR fights being stopped by
fight, on December 18, 2010, Munoz fought Patricia Ordonez
(making her PRO DEBUT, for the WBC "Youth" title.....She was
STOPPED in the first round.
On August 28,
2010, Munoz fought the above-mentioned opponent Magdalena Leija
for the WBC "Youth" title stopping her in that fight in the
seventh round by TKO.

The two fighting for the WBC "Youth" title.
is of little concern to those who are responsible for making
"match" after " match" for Munoz for the "Youth"
title-------so WBAN will just continue to "Talk" and "Talk"
about it as it occurs in the sport...
