(JUNE 30) Last night in Corona,
California, in a rematch between TaTina “Little Tyson” Anderson vs. Lissette Medel,
Medel won by a six-round unanimous decision, in what was
described as a toe-to-toe battle in the ring. While
Anderson delivered a barrage of hard-landing shots, Medel won
the battle by scoring points. Medel was able to
control the distance and she dictated the fight. Final
judges scores were 60-54, 59-55, and 58-56. photos: Mary Ann

Earlier today the
weigh-in was held in Corona, California for tomorrow night's
card featuring TaTina “Little Tyson” Anderson vs. Lissette Medel
in a six-rounder. On the scales today, Anderson weighed,
135.5, and Medel, 131. This will be a rematch for the two.
This bout is scheduled on the undercard of the Ruslan Provodnikov vs. Jose Reynoso
main event airing on ESPN2′s “Friday Night Fights.”
