(MAY 29) There has been quite a stir in regards to the upcoming
WBC Silver world title fight featuring Yesica "Tuti" Bopp,
24-0-0 (11KO), Buenos Aires, Argentina, current holder of the
WBA/WBO light flyweight titles, who will be facing Kika
Chavez, 17-3-2 (4KO) of Mexico City, Mexico, in a 10 rounder, this
Saturday, June 1, at the Estadio Morelos, Ecatepec, México.
Bopp arrived this week to Mexico in anticipation of her fight
against Chavez in this title bout. Chavez will be defending the WBC
Silver light flyweight title, after she had won the belt on
February 23, 2013, against Irma Sanchez. This fight was rated
five stars with Boxrec, so it should be a very exciting matchup
for these two.
A press conference was held earlier today, with both boxers,
Bopp and Chavez, along with WBC President Jose Sulaiman in
