Ava Knight Ventures into a Fitness Competition!
June 7, 2013

(JUNE 7) Multi-world Flyweight Boxing Champion, Ava "Lady of Boxing" Knight of Chico, California, is not only exciting in the ring when fighting, but is also a sight to behold "outside the ring"!

Knight just recently adventured off to a fitness competition in her home town, in Chico, on the first of June. It was her first try at Bikini division in the Chico Bodybuilding, Figure, and Bikini Competition.

Knight told WBAN, "It was a great experience and to be around so many fit people was so amazing."

Ava did not place in the competition but just doing it was another accomplishment under her championship belts.

For the competition, Ava joined Chico's Premier Fitness Team, led by Chico's Nutrishop Owner Matt Sheppard and who's teammate and competing competitor, Margueritte Schneringer, took second place.

Crossing out trying the competition on her bucket list, the next will be winning one.

"I had a great time at the show and hopefully next time around I can take the 1st place trophy.  I could not have done it without her main sponsors Ortega Precision Mfg. Inc., Nutrishop Chico, Muscle Milk, and Quest Nutrition," added Knight.
