Four Female Boxing Bouts on South Korea Card
by Sue TL Fox
August 12, 2013

(AUG 12) On August 15th, at the Wolmido, Icheon, South Korea, there are four scheduled female bouts.  There is also four male bouts on the card.

Fight #1:  Light Flyweight Dan-Bi Kim, 7-2-1 (2KO) of Anseong City, South Korea, will be facing Yokfah Sithrusin, 0-3-0, Thailand, in a 10-rounder.

Believe it or not with a 0-3-0 record, being stopped in her last fight, Yokfah who was 0-1 had already managed to fight for an international super flyweight title, fighting in a 10 rounder on that bout. She then becomes 0-2, and in her third fight is stopped by TKO.  She is now fighting 10 rounds in this fight.  The BIG question is----is it for a title?

In a second scheduled fight, Hyun-Mi Choi, 7-0-1 (2KO), 126, of Seoul, South Korea, will face Fujin Raika, 25-7-1 (10KO), of Tokyo, Japan, in 10-round title bout. The two are fighting for an “Interim” WBA super featherweight title.

In a third female bout, Hee-Jung Yuh, 7-2-1 ( 1KO), of South Korea, will fight a six rounder against Airada Sithsonram, 2-0-0 of Thailand.

In a fourth female bout, Eun-Hye Lee, 3-0-0 (1KO), of South Korea, will be fighting Dorkmaipah Kiatpompetchm, pro debuter of Thailand.

There are four male bouts scheduled on the card.
