Continuing what he started 20 years ago when he promoted first
female boxing bout, promoter Roy Englebrecht announced today
that he has signed 4-0 Southern California female boxer Seniesa
Estrada to a promotional contract. Estrada who turns 23 this
June is a former National Amateur Champion winning the Junior
Olympics in 2007 and was the #1 ranked female amateur boxer in
the USA when she won the 2009 USA National Championship in
Colorado Springs. Her amateur record was an astonishing 97 wins
and 4 losses.
“Having promoted more female
boxing bouts than any other promoter in the history of the
sport, I am thrilled to have Seniesa and her team join Roy
Englebrecht Promotions,” said Englebrecht. “With her skills in
the ring, her large Southern California following, and her inner
and outer beauty, she is a promoter’s dream.”
The East LA native and flyweight is trained by veteran Dean
Campos and managed by Oscar Sanchez. She will make her Fight
Club OC debut on Thursday, August 27th. Seniesa was the talk of
the GGG vs Monroe show at The Forum on May 16th in her win over
Carly Batey, where she knocked Batey down in the 3rd round. Max
Kellerman and Roy Jones were abuzz at ringside, with Jones
commenting that she reminded him of a young Roy Jones!!

Oscar Sanchez, Estrada’s manager was also thrilled with the
