WBC Announces Tournament in the WBC Flyweight Belt for the Diamond World Title!

(SEPT 28)  In some very exciting news from the WBC, they have announced a tournament in the Flyweight division that will be for the WBC Diamond world title ultimately.

Posted publicly on Facebook, the following was announced:
 
The dream of getting to know the best exponent of the flyweight at global level is close to be fulfilled and as it was agreed at the last convention of women's World Boxing Council, will be held a tournament between the eight best fighters of the division of the 112 Pounds and the winner shall be awarded the belt diamond.

The unprecedented event starts this Saturday in ecatepec, state of Mexico; when in duel of five stars the Mexican Kika Chávez, current monarch green and gold in the division of the 50.800 kg will play in the prestigious crown in front of the triple world champion Naoko Fujioka in Japanese duel that organizes promotions of the people with the support of beer Victoria and Playboy Mexico and which will be broadcast to the entire country by the screens of televisa deportes.  More on Chavez vs. Fujioka
