Double Wins for Klinefelter Sisters
August 29, 2010

(AUG 29) On Friday night, in Iowa City, Iowa, Junior lightweight Katy Klinefelter, 129½, won a six-round bout over Kerri Hill, 130¾. Also, Emily Klinefelter, 116¼,  KO'd Savanna Hill, 115½, in the first round. Both Klinefelters' are undefeated at this time.  

Jeffrey Continues Her Winning Streak!

 (AUG 29) Last night in Dover, Delaware, Ronica Jeffrey, of Brooklyn, New York, won a four-round split decision over Ashleigh Curry.  Jeffrey is now 4-0-0 (0KO).  Boxing Fans should keep their eye on this boxer--she is a true talent in the sport!

Balogun to fight McKenzie in Germany

2010 AIBA Women’s World Championships Team Bio Blasts

(COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO.) – The 2010 Women’s World Championships team members are currently undergoing final preparations before traveling to Dania, Fla., for their pre-event training camp, August 28-September 5. Gladney to fight on Pay-Per-View For World Title

(AUG 13) It has been confirmed by Andrew Stokes, Palmetto Boxing Promotions promoter, that Angel Gladney, who trains out of the White Rock boxing gym is going to fight for the World Title on pay per view. Gladney is set to be on the undercard of Sugar Shane Mosley - Sergio Mora main event. Dominic Robinson Neal has done a great job training Angel! We are proud of them both! The fight is on September 18, 2010.  Kaliesha West (ranked #6 with WBAN) will be Gladney's opponent (Gladney is not ranked with WBAN).

USA Boxing News: US Top Female Boxers to Compete for a World Championship

(AUG 13) (COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO.) – Just over a year after the IOC decision to add women’s boxing to the 2012 Olympic Games, the world’s top female boxers will convene in Bridgetown, Barbados for the 2010 AIBA Women’s World Championships. The 2010 event, which will be contested September 9-18, will be the sixth edition of the competition and the first since the IOC announcement. Holm Wins by TKO after Clampitt Dislocates Shoulder in first Round

(AUG 7) Last night at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the fight between Holly Holm and Jaime Clampitt ended in the first round, after Clampitt fell to the mat after clinching with Holm.  Clampitt dislocated her shoulder and was unable to continue.
