(JUN 20) Yesterday, on June 19th, the City of Watsonville, California, presented Carina Moreno Day.  The event at Watsonville City Hall honored the 25-year-old fighter, whose accomplishments include winning the WBC strawweight world title on May 17 at Tachi Palace Hotel and Casino in Lemoore, California. Attendees included City of Watsonville officials, Moreno's manager/ trainer Rick Noble, and her family and friends. This was a Jackie Kallen promotion, with two cards under the California Commission, and the third, well, something a little different.
