(NOV 29) Last night at Körösi Csoma School Gymnasium, Érd, Hungary, in the main event, Hungarian Krisztina Belinszky (100,25lbs) won a ten-round unnanimous decision over American-Philippino Sarah "Da Thrilla" Godson (102 lbs) and defended her GBU female strawweight, and captured vacant WIBF Minimumweight world titles.....Full Story

(NOV 27) Today the weigh-in was held for tomorrow's championship bout at theKörösi Csoma School Gymnasium, Érd, Hungary, between GBU strawweight world champion Hungarian Krisztina "Baby" Belinszky (23-6-2; 9KO's) vs. Sarah "Thrilla" Goodson (28-16-1; 9KO's).  Belinszky and Goodson will be fighting for the vacant WIBF strawweight title and Belinszky will be defending her GBU title. The weigh-in was held at the today afternoon in Festal Rastaurant Henessy Club Resort, Érd, Hungary.  The weights: Belinszky 45,5 kgs/100,25 lbs; her opponent american-philippino weighed at 46,3 kgs/102 lbs in second attempt.

(NOV 27) Sang Ju South Korea: The weigh-in started of with an issue of controversy concerning the scale that was used. The scale, apparently not a current model and not calibrated, showed Rhonda Luna weighing in at 1.2 pounds over weight. Having already weighed earlier on another scale and being right on target weight, this was called into question. Woo also weighed in over weight, by 1/2 pound...Full Story

(NOV 26) Hungary ranks as the 83rd-largest country in the world in terms of population, so it seems unlikely that it would boast seven of the 20 active female super middleweight boxers, but that is the case. (NOV 15)  Last night, in the co-main event,  Sandy Tsagouris of Brampton,  now 10-1 (4KO),  pounded her way to a decisive 60-55, 60-54 and 60-53 unanimous decision victory over now 5-1 (4KO) Mayrline Rivas of Venezuela in a six-round contest. In the opening round, Tsagouris pressured Rivas and landed crisp head and body shots mixing up her combinations well. Figueroa Hospitalized after fight

(NOV 7) Last night in Chicago, Illinois, Rita Figueroa fought Kita Watkins Rita Figueroa fought Kita Watkins, and lost the fight. After the fight, she was taken to the hospital where she had brain surgery. She is in ICU at this time.  WBAN hopes that she makes a 100% recovery.
