Bantamweight Lorri Aguilera, 118 lbs., 36,  5’3”,  born September 24, 1966, now retired, 0-1-1,  began her pro boxing career on May 15, 2003.  In that first fight,  Aguilera, 118½,  had  fought to a four-round draw against Kimberly Reed, 123½.

Aguilera, 114, then had one more fight, on September 18, 2003, where she suffered her first loss against Mariana Juarez, 116,  that ended in a four-round unanimous decision for Juarez.

in 2003, Aguilera told WBAN,  “I am currently pursuing a Doctorate degree in Preventive Care at Loma Linda University in California. I am also a trained WellCoach in which I coach people on wellness issues (weight, fitness, stress management and healthy lifestyles). I have been a Kickboxing instructor for the past 5 years, and have been training specifically for boxing for the last year.”

Aguilera said, “ I love the empowering feeling that I get from this sport and want to show that all women, even those "over 35", can be just as powerful and competitive as the men in this sport.   After reaching a 0-1-1 record as a pro, she did not have any other pro bouts.  WBAN has listed her as retired.[Courtesy photos provided by Lorri Aguilera]
