It might be destiny or it might be divine intervention but the day that 19-year-old Natasha "The Nightmare" Spence met Syd "The Jewel" Vanderpool was the day that boxing welcomed a new contender. Six years later in 2010, the boxing world would see this talented disciple of the sweet science make her much anticipated pro boxing debut with a dominating win.

With 14 amateur fights and 2 Golden Gloves Championships behind her Spence, spectacularly earned the nickname "The Nightmare." Completely dominating her opponents in the lightweight division, Spence is known for her lightning fast hands, great footwork and deadly body punches.

Spence was named Best Female Novice Boxer at the 2009 Ontario Golden Gloves, as well as Best Female Open Boxer at the 2010 Ontario Golden Gloves. She has also been named Best Overall Female Boxer for the years of 2009 and 2010.

"I just know I've done everything I could have possibly done to prepare myself. I know that I have out-trained and will out-work my opponent. I have the speed, skill and drive that supports my confidence," says Spence. "Winning is just putting it all together."

"Natasha simply demolishes her opponents," says Syd Vanderpool. "It's like she has tapped into some divine right to simply be the best female boxer. As no stranger to the world champion stage, I recognize that rare trait that only certain boxers have. Natasha has it."

Natasha fights out of Mississauga, ON Canada and fights at 130 – 135 lbs.
