Archived biography. Riley has not boxed for quite sometime...January 16, 2007

When first viewing a glimpse of BRIDGETT RILEY you may think that she is just a pretty face, and that might have been where she got the nickname "Baby Doll."   But,  don't let her looks fool you for one minute!  THIS GIRL CAN FIGHT!
   Video of Riley

When I saw the fight between her and Yvonne Trevino,  I cannot even begin to tell you how pleased I was to see the progress women boxing has achieved in the  90's.   RILEY cares about the roots of women boxing and has no qualms in expressing it.   She trains with one of the TOP WOMEN BOXERS of the 80's, Lilly Rodriquez. (Update 2003-Riley no longer works with Lilly Rodriquez)

Like most women boxers, RILEY began as a kickboxer.  Born May 13, 1973 in Oakville, Missouri, 118 pounder that is no less than  a stick of dynamite in the ring.  RILEY has proven herself as a kickboxer 26-2 with 14 knockouts, and has titles with two kickboxing organizations.   RILEY had to side line kickboxing for a bit because it was messing her boxing game up, but she is not officially retired from that sport as of this date.

RILEY hopes to earn a living in the ring as a successful female boxer.   She is well on her way to achieving that goal. She won the International Female Boxers Association bantamweight title with a 10-round unanimous decision over Yvonne Trevino at the Biloxi Grand Theatre on Feb. 15, 1998.

RILEY wants to be taken seriously, and to be known for her boxing skills and not for how she looks.  She takes pride in being in the best condition when competing with others.
