(DEC 10) Lightweight Erica "La
Pantera" Farías, 15-0-0 (8KO), of Buenos Aires, Argentina,
traveled from her country to Cancún, México, last
week to attend the WBC 50th Annual Convention. Ed Pearson,

South American could debut in Europe next year to defend her
lightweight crown.

Erica who goes by the ring name
of “La Pantera” said, "If there are deals to go to Europe,
and they meet my expectations, I have no objection to negotiate
the next defense of my WBC lightweight title."

Erica was born in San Fernando,
Argentina, and at the tender age of 28 years old, she has
managed to accumulate seven successful defenses of her WBC
