(SEPT 25) LAS  VEGAS -  We are on the final countdown before the International Women's Boxing Hall of Fame takes place on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at the Orleans Hotel & Casino, in Las Vegas, Nevada.  It just seems like we celebrated our 2020-2021 IWBHF in Las Vegas, Nevada last August 14th.  That was a history-making event when the City of Las Vegas, made our event "Women's Boxing Day", with a proclamation from the Mayor of Las Vegas.

This year when we again have our event in our home base,of Las Vegas, we again will make "History Markers" in the sport with our unique and well-deserved Inductees and our prestigious Special Award Recipients.

To begin with, we have the largest one-year 2022 IWBHF Inductees that will be honored at our event who are the following:  Delia Gonzalez, Susi Kentikian, Rose Trentman, Thomas Gerbasi, Fredia Gibbs, Eliza Olson, Tracy Byrd, Rose Byrd (posthumous), Brooke Dierdorff, Yvonne Reis, Hannah Fox, Tori Nelson, Margaret Sidoroff, Eva Jones-Young, Jimmy Finn, and Cora Webber (History First Recipient--read her story).

We will also have in attendance two of our 2020-2021 IWBHF Inductees who will be honored as last year with the Covid and other reasons could not attend the event.  Those two inductees are  Marischa Sjauw from the Netherlands, and Valerie Mahfood, from Texas!

We also have Eight (8) special recognition awards to be given that includes history-first Darlene Buckskin and her sister, Theresa Kibby (posthumous) for their pioneer days in the 1970s and being the first-ever Native American professional boxing sisters to receive a California License and other states, including Nevada to fight professional.  We also have Pat Pineda---she was the first female boxer in the sport to receive a boxing license in the state of California.  We also have Jerry Hoffman (posthumous), and Patrick Ortiz, the "before their time" promoters who supported women's boxing and having female fights on their cards and more.   We also will be honoring Eddie Montalvo, who is a huge asset to the sport of women's boxing, and during his time with the IWBHF was our Executive Director until retiring; In addition,  Lupi Gutierrez Beagle for her great contributions to the amateurs in the sport;  We will be presenting a new special award this year with "women outside the Ropes."  Our first recipient is Brenda Spinks;  and lastly our Lifetime Achievement Award that will be awarded to Bonnie Canino, of Florida.

We are excited to have high-profile and celebrity Christy "The Coal Miner's Daughter" Martin who just was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame---and also inducted in our hall of fame in 2014 as a special guest.  Martin will have her book-signing available during our "Meet and Greet"!  To read the five-star book, you can purchase the book beforehand our event, or buy one at the event.

Our theme this year is "Celebration" especially after what we have endured in the last two years.  We are anticipating a sold-out affair with honoring not only our 2022 Inductees but those receiving special awards for what they have accomplished in the sport. For General Tickets,
