All-Female Card on September 10th in London
by Sue TL Fox
August 15, 2022

(AUG 15) In an exciting upcoming event for women's boxing there will be an All-Female card that will take place at the O2 Arena, Greenwich, in London, England, on September 10, 2022..

In the main event Claressa “T-Rex” Shields, 12-0-0 (2KO- will put her belts on the line when she fights Savannah Marshall, 12-0-0 (10KO) in a ten round multi-title bout that includes the IBF, WBA, WBC, WBF and WBO Middleweight title.  This has been a long-awaited fight between these two which will be one of the biggest fights this year in the sport besides the Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano bout that sold out the Madison Square Garden in New York.

In a second female bout,  Mikaela Mayer, 17-0-0 (5KO), a definite rising star in the sport, will fight Alycia Baumgardner 12-1-0 (7KO).  The two will be fighting for the IBF, IBO, WBC, and the WBO Super featherweight title.

Undercard fights:   Personally we would have liked to have seen more high-profile bouts on the undercard, but it is what it is.....

Caroline Dubois, 3-0-0 vs. Milena Koleva, 10-14-1 in a six-rounder in the lightweight division. .Koleva has lost 8 out of 9 fights since 2017.

Lauren Price, 1-0-0, will be fighting Timea Belik, 6-6-0. The two are fighting a six-rounder.

Shannon Ryan, 2-0-0 vs. Buchra El Quaissi, 3-2-3, six rounds.

Ebonie Jones, 2-1-0 vs. Vanesa Caballero, 4-15-3. (Caballero had 6 straight losses since 2021…)

Ginny Fuchs, 1-0-0 vs. Gemma 5-4-0.

Karriss Artingstall, 1-0-0 vs. Marina Sakharov, 5-16-0. Sakharov has had nine straight losses since 2018.

April Hunter, 5-1-0, vs. Erica Juana Gabriela Alvarez, 3-6-0.

Sarah Liegmann, 4-0-0 vs. Bec Connolly, 3-15-0. Nine Straight losses since 2019.

We see four-potential "Journeywomen" bouts on the undercard.  Our prediction from checking out their fights, and background.  All four will lose by at least decision....
