As Britney Spears says…"Oops….I did it again” But in this case---it’s “Oops THEY did it again!”

(AUG 28) Here we go down the same rabbit hole of BoxRec not documenting every fighters’ professional bouts. And now we have yet another example of negligence of the “Official Boxing Record Site” failure to document professional bouts that boxers are having who can provide video, documentation and more.

There is absolutely no reason why current active professional boxers should not have a correct and accurate record on BoxRec, as they are the Official record keeper. I can understand the comment that they state they are “inaccurate”….but there is “zero” reason to be inaccurate with current boxers who are actively fighting.

In this “Oppsy” they have Hollie Towl listed as a pro debuter. Towl is NOT a pro debuter. She has had eight fights and is 8-0-0 (6KO).

So when you see Towl listed as a female boxer making her “pro debut”, then technically one would be scratching their head to see that she is listed as DEFENDING her WIBA World title in a ten round bout against Rebecca Hawker, 5-0-0. The two will be fighting on September 3, 2022,  at the Eatons Hill Hotel in North Brisbane, Australia.

People…tell me….how does one DEFEND a world title, when they supposedly never had a fight?

This is just another of many examples of what WBAN has been trying to address about fights not being reported on an Official Boxing Record website.

We suggested to one BoxRec Editor, that if they have a personal issue with a fight under this promoter, that commission, etc., simple have a notation field in their database to reflect that information. This is a continuing safety issue that is not being addressed as of yet.

We will be posting the press release soon on this upcoming fight with Towl vs. Hawker.
