LAS VEGAS, NV (May 9, 2024) – The International Women’s Boxing Hall of Fame “Night of the Stars II” is returning to Las Vegas, Nevada in the 12th year of honoring and inducting the top Elite Athletes and those who work outside the ring on (Friday, Saturday) April 4-5, 2025, a two-day event at the Orleans Hotel & Casino!  We are happy to make a huge announcement today!

As many of you know, the IWBHF has always tried to go in conjunction with other organizations.  In 2014 and 2015, we went in conjunction with the Women's USA Boxing Amateur tournament with Bonnie Canino, in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.  We also went in conjunction with the Beautiful Brawlers in 2019, in Brisbane, California---and now we are proud to announce that we will be going in conjunction with the WBC Women's Convention that will be back-to-back with our April 4-5, 2025 hall of fame event!

The WBC said, “The World Boxing Council joins WBAN in this unprecedented celebration of Women’s Boxing by holding the WBC Women’s Convention at the Orleans on April 2nd and 3rd, 2025. Mark the dates and get ready to rumble! Together we’re stronger! “

As the WBC states, "Mark your dates"  by having the WBC Women's Convention on April 2-3, 2025 at the Orleans Hotel & Casino, and our event that follows on April 4-5, 2025---it will be fun-packed and a great gathering of many "Night of the Stars" legends and more!

Please make sure to book your room soon as we have a special rate for our block of rooms and with the back-to-back events---you can book your room at one time if planning to also attend the two-day event of the WBC Women's Convention that takes place two days prior to our IWBHF event.  (Their details will follow soon...)

Check out the last IWBHF/WBAN Event we held at the Orleans Hotel & Casino in October of 2023 where we celebrated two years of IWBHF Inductees, along with celebrating our 10th year Anniversary for the IWBHF and 25th Year for WBAN!

The first day of our event, on Friday, April 4, 2023, we will have our "Night of the Stars II" pre-celebration

Our Special Award segment on April 4, 2024 we will be honoring our first responders, "WOMEN COPS WHO BOX", that include seven (7) female boxers that have worked in law enforcement either presently or in the past.  The Special Award Recipients are the following: Melissa Cooper, Alex Love, Tracy Byrd, Stephanie Han, Terri Moss, Ann Marie Carrizales, and Kathy Williams.  These female boxers have not only excelled in their careers as police officers, but also displayed immense talent and determination in the boxing ring.

In this two-day gala affair we also have four (5) unique trailblazers that we will be honoring that includes Margaret McGregor; Patricia Trejo; Brentnoll Bovell, Patricia Orr; and Leaping Lena! Every one these have their own distinct history in the sport.  More details to follow soon.
