DUBLIN, IRELAND —Matchroom Boxing and the camp of two-weight undisputed world
champion Katie Taylor have issued a definitive update regarding the boxing
icon's highly anticipated final appearance in the ring.

Following Taylor's trilogy
wins over Amanda "The Real Deal" Serrano, 39-year-old Katie Taylor formally announced her
intention to retire in 2026 after one final homecoming bout.
While Taylor
initially expressed flexibility regarding the Dublin venue, her camp has
significantly shifted its stance according to media sources. We welcome
the Taylor team to confirmed this latest news.

Promoter Eddie Hearn confirmed that Katie
Taylor may never box again if a deal cannot be finalized with Croke Park,
Ireland’s iconic 82,000-seat stadium.
"It is Croke Park or bust," Hearn told Sky
Sports. "If it's not happening, I think she'd go: 'I'm done.' The deflation of
not getting Croke Park will lend itself to saying, "I surrender."

Taylor echoed
this absolute sentiment, declaring the historic stadium a non-negotiable
condition for her final walk. "It's Croke Park or nowhere for me," Taylor
stated, emphasizing that headlining the legendary venue remains the ultimate
unrealized dream of her professional career.
Also in other news sources, it is said that Matchroom Boxing representatives held positive
face-to-face meetings with Croke Park officials in Dublin. They are looking at
late summer, August or early September. Some potential issues are extensive
financial costs of staging a major boxing card at that particular venue.
As of yet, there has been no word as the opponent for Taylor, although Caroline
Dubois and Stephanie Han has been mentioned throughout the internet, although
Taylor is open to all challengers.
