Mega-Cards featuring World Title Clashes with women's boxing on the Horizon
June 25, 2026

(JUNE 25)  Exciting times lie ahead for boxing fans with several premier women’s cards locked in a line-up of elite, high-profile cards has been locked in across major international arenas. Spanning from historic championship venues in the United States to iconic football stadiums in Europe.

In one event on Saturday, August 15, 2026, Claressa “T-Rex” Shields will be dropping down to the middleweight division (good to see this), the heavyweight division in women’s boxing is too thin at this time to be very competitive.

Shields will be fighting Kaye Scott, and the two will be fighting for the unified WBC and WBA Middleweight world championship bouts. The event is scheduled to take place at the State Farm Arena, in Atlanta, Georgia, in the USA. The bout will be live worldwide on DAZN.

Shields, 18-0—(3KO), will fighting Scott, 5-1-1 as a pro. Scott is the reigning unified WBC and WBA Middleweight champion. The  State Farm Arena will host its first-ever women’s boxing headliner, and its first world title boxing event of any kind since 2019.

In another huge card, on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at the BP Pulse Live, in Birmingham, England, in the main event, Mikaela Mayer will be fighting Chantelle Cameron, and in the co-main event, Caroline Dubois vs. Amelia Moore will be featured. The fights are for the unified WBA, WBC, WBO and IBF Super Welterweight & Lightweight Titles. The fights will be streamed live on ESPN+.

The main event is an absolute dream fight for boxing fans, Mikaela Mayer looks to settle an elite rivalry against Chantelle Cameron.

Mayer, coming off a spectacular multi-title run, is risking it all against the fiercely powerful former undisputed champion Cameron in a high profile battle to see who truly rules the 154-pound division. Two “elites” fighting each other in the sport.

In the co-main event, will be a title defense by Caroline Dubois, putting her WBC and WBO lightweight belts on the line against Amelia Moore. Moore will need to bring the fight of her life to stand a chance against the formidable champion over ten rounds.

In the final professional bout in her career, Katie Taylor will be fighting on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at the Croke Park, in Dublin, Ireland. The venue  holds 80,000 which has been reported to have already been sold out.

The fight will be live worldwide on DAZN. Taylor is fighting Flora Pill. WBAN would have liked to have seen other more profile opponents for this last fight for Taylor---and can only say that Pili enters the lion’s den with nothing to lose and the ultimate opportunity to dethrone an icon in front of Taylor’s home fans.
