Redstall vs. Courtney Square Off for
WBO Title Glory in Brentwood This Sunday

BRENTWOOD, England — This weekend there is a women’s flyweight championship
matchup taking place on Sunday, July 12, 2026. Undefeated
prospect Megan “Lashes” Redstall, 7-0-1 (1KO),of Westbury, Wiltshire, United
Kingdom, will step into the ring against the Maisey Rose Courtney, 9-1-0 (0KO).
The two female boxers will fight for the vacant WBO International flyweight
title live from Brentwood, England.
The event will broadcast worldwide on DAZN starting at 12:00 PM ET / 5:00 PM BST.
Megan "Lashes" Redstall brings an undefeated record to the bout. She is a
paramedic by day and boxer by night. She had won a unanimous victory to claim a
vacant Commonwealth Boxing Council Bantamweight title in February, while she was
working full-time as a paramedic for the South Western Ambulance Service.
In a Youtube video, Redstall talks about her
background, and the info on this video stated the following:
"Megan, is the first professional female boxer to come out of West Wiltshire and
is set to take to the canvas for the first time since being granted her
professional boxing licence last year. The Westbury teen trains out of the
Contender Gym in Melksham under trainer and manager Mark Kent. Kent
believes that Megan is a role model for young female athletes, not only in
boxing but in any sport where you can break down social barriers. Megan,
whose boxing nickname is ‘Lashes’, wants to disprove several misguided theories
surrounding female boxers."

Redstall is looking to seize her first major world title. Maisey Rose Courtney
plans to push a relentless pace from the opening bell to take the WBO strap
home.
