LAS VEGAS, NV
— The International Women’s Boxing Hall of Fame (IWBHF) has
reached a major and enduring milestone, securing its position as the home
of the world's largest, most comprehensive collection of female
inductees in Women’s Boxing. Reaching a legacy total of 152
elite inductees, that includes males who have contributed
significantly to female boxing in the sport.
The IWBHF stands as a dedicated, archive honoring the fighters,
pioneers, and contributors who built the foundation of women's
boxing.
Founded out of
Necessity: The Vision of Sue TL Fox
The existence of
the IWBHF is rooted in the lifelong dedication of its President
and Founder, Sue TL Fox. As a former top-ranked
professional boxer in the 1970s and the creator of the Women
Boxing Archive Network (WBAN), Fox recognized a profound
void in the sport. For decades, traditional hall of fame
organizations faced questionable limitations on how many female
fighters could be inducted annually and it was almost a rarity
at most to see a female boxer honored as a hall of fame inductee
in other organization.
Driven by the
need to bridge this gap, Fox founded the IWBHF in 2014. Her
mission was not to compete with existing institutions, but to
establish a necessary, standalone haven where female boxers
would NEVER be a footnote.
Preserving the
Roster of Excellence
Because of this
focused mission, the IWBHF has been able to welcome152 legends
across its induction classes—spanning from its inaugural 2014
ceremony to the newly announced Class of 2026.

A Shared Dedication to Boxing History
"The
International Women’s Boxing Hall of Fame was born out of a
necessity," said Sue TL Fox, WBAN and IWBHF Founder. "When I
looked at the sheer lack of women being inducted into
traditional boxing halls was a reality I did want to help fix
it. I created this organization to give these athletes a home
where their stories could be told in full. The IWBHF is
incredibly proud to hold the largest bank of female inductions
in the world, serving as a dedicated companion to the
preservation of boxing history."
