BIRMINGHAM, ENGLAND - Tonight women's boxing takes place at the bp pulse
LIVE Arena (August 29, 2026) as a historic "Britain vs.
USA" card brings together the elite of women's boxing.
Following an amicable buildup, the competitive tension finally
spilled over during yesterday's official weigh-ins, culminating in
a chaotic, forehead-to-forehead face-off that required security
to separate the main event headliners between Mikaela Mayer vs.
Chantelle Cameron.

On the scales with the main event, Mayer weighed in at 148 lbs,
and Cameron, at 147.6.

During their face off, the final staredown
quickly devolved into an absolute war of words, prompting
security teams to quickly wedge themselves between the two
unified champions. Following the physical confrontation, a
fired-up Cameron warned, "She isn’t intimidating me. All that
yapping and getting in my face—just watch tomorrow. Shut your
mouth, you're so deluded... You're going to get humbled." An
unbothered Mayer fired back immediately, mocking her opponent's
assessment of the matchup by stating, "I think she just said I'm
too slow, but there's no way Chantelle Cameron is faster than
me... I didn't know this Cameron existed, she's going to need
it."

The bad blood carried right into the co-main event, where
unified WBC and WBO lightweight champion Caroline Dubois of the
United Kingdom weighed in at 134.8 pounds. Her
American challenger, Amelia Moore, cleared her championship
weight right behind her at 134.4 pounds.

Their face-off was
equally intense, with Dubois promising a definitive finish by
telling the challenger, "She knows I'm coming to take her head
off. Welcome to my world." Moore refused to back down an inch,
answering, "This is my world. I've been waiting my whole life
for this point, my whole life."
The undercard weights featuring Terri Harper of the UK
weighing in at 137.8 pounds for her super-welterweight clash
against America’s Miranda Reyes, who hit the scales at 136.6
pounds.
In the featherweight division, Britain's Jessica Barry
and the USA's Reina Tellez mirrored each other perfectly by
weighing in at an identical 125.6 pounds. A similar deadlock
occurred in the super-bantamweight division, where British
contender Tysie Gallagher and American counterpart Brandi
Robinson both hit the exact mark of 121.6 pounds.
In flyweight
action, local favorite Shannon Courtenay weighed in 113.8
pounds, while her American opponent Ebonie Cotton came in at
114.6 pounds.
Rounding out the stacked female card is an all-British
super-lightweight encounter featuring Kirstie Bavington at 137.6
pounds and Gemma Richardson at 140.4 pounds.
For viewers watching in the United Kingdom and Ireland,
the broadcast airs live on Sky Sports, with the preliminary
bouts kicking off at 5:00 PM BST, followed by the main card at
7:00 PM BST, and the main event ring walks scheduled between
9:30 PM and 10:00 PM BST. There are male bouts on the
undercard.

preliminary action starting at 12:00 PM ET / 9:00 AM PT and the
