LAS VEGAS, NV — (October 14, 2026) Fresh off the heels of a historic, sold-out weekend, the International Women’s Boxing Hall of Fame (IWBHF) has continues to cement its status as the premier celebration in women’s boxing. On Saturday, October 10, 2026, the boxing world converged on Las Vegas to witness a breathtaking induction ceremony that honored the sport’s greatest icons while boldly introducing the world to its future champions.

The 2026 event was widely praised by attendees, legends, and media as one of the most spectacular and emotionally charged induction ceremony in IWBHF history. This year's groundbreaking theme seamlessly bridged generations, honoring iconic retired legends while shining a massive spotlight on the elite amateur fighters who are the “future” of the sport.

A special feature at the IWBHF was the celebration of the WBAN Amateur Program. Launched in 2025, WBAN sponsored three WBAN Mini Belts at select amateur boxing shows, awarding them to the most elite female competitors. The "standouts", Faith Gomez, Sdalyzmar Seda, Ava Quinoines, Mila Massiel Torres, VIP guests, giving the sold-out crowd a firsthand look at the "Future" of women's boxing.  They all received a WBAN Plaque Award, and a Medal.

As the historic night concluded, the buzzing question on every attendee’s mind asking: How can the IWBHF possibly top this?

Today, IWBHF organizers are thrilled to announce that the wheels are already turning for the next upcoming event. The celebration will return to its homebase: The Orleans Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.

While the official date and the highly anticipated new theme are currently under wraps, Sue TL Fox, President/founder of the IWBHF, hopes that a journey will be even grander in scale if that is possible!

Fox said her plan is to bring together an unprecedented gathering of world-renowned legends, multi-time world champions, and newly eligible retired trailblazers for the next event.

"2026 was proof that women's boxing is at an all-time high," addedd Fox. "We are already designing a next chapter that will surpass everything we’ve done before. Stand by as we finalize our plans—and to our future partners, get ready to make history with us."
