More on Lauren Price:

Hailing from Ystrad Mynach, the 32-year-old Lauren Price is arguably the most decorated combat sports athlete in Welsh history. Before transitioning to professional boxing, she excelled as a kickboxing world champion and an international football player for Wales. Her amateur boxing career reached its pinnacle at Tokyo 2020, where she secured an Olympic gold medal for Great Britain.

Price made history in May 2024 by becoming Wales' first-ever female boxing world champion after defeating Jessica McCaskill. She consolidated her rule over the 147-pound division by handing Natasha Jonas a unanimous decision defeat to claim the WBC belt in March 2025. Price enters this matchup following a gritty, successful title defense against Stephanie Piñeiro in April 2026.

More on Michaela Kotaskova

The 34-year-old Michaela Kotaskova represents the top tier of Czech boxing, currently holding the WBF title. Based out of Vienna, Austria, Kotaskova has built a formidable reputation.

Crucially, Kotaskova remains entirely undefeated within her natural welterweight division. Her solitary career defeat came when she stepped up a weight class to super-welterweight to challenge former undisputed champion Chantelle Cameron in London. Since that setback, Kotaskova has bounced back strongly, most recently securing a decisive unanimous decision victory over Ester Konecna in June 2026 to earn her first shot at undisputed world titles.

Pre-Fight Quotes

Lauren Price: "I'm absolutely thrilled to be coming home to Cardiff for another massive night. Michaela Kotaskova is a tough, highly-ranked opponent who has never tasted defeat at this weight, but I have worked too hard to let these belts go. My performance against Piñeiro showed I can handle the grueling fights, and on November 20, I’m going to show the world once again why I am the best welterweight on the planet. Talks for other super-fights down the line can wait—my entire focus is on taking care of business in front of my home crowd."

Michaela Kotaskova: "I have a lot of respect for Lauren and everything she has achieved, but I am coming to Cardiff to take her titles. Welterweight is my natural division, I am undefeated at this weight, and I believe this is my moment. I know I will be walking into an arena full of Lauren's fans, but that only gives me more motivation. I have already shown that I can compete with the best fighters in the world, and I am ready to make history on November 20."
